it's great that you are coming for spotting session to Prague. My Prague colleague is going to return to his computer tomorrow, so I guess that he sends some more suggestions as soon as he shovels the heaps of mail waiting for him.



Although I'm not LKPR resident, I'll try to reply at least in some points:



For noise abatement reasons, the main runway is 24/06, and most movements take part on 24. I do not know about any closures yet.



I am not sure with the angle for the first picture, most probably it is from 12 or 13 at http://www.planes.cz/lite/PRGspot.php. Still a possibility of point 5, but RWY 13 movements are quite rare.



The other ( http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php? ... 92&nseq=73 ) one might be from point 9 (for 06 departure) or 1 (for 31 dep.).

Sorry to be so unclear, I haven't been to Prague for ages (and that also answers the meals question...)

Ich würde mcih evtl auch noch melden wenn es denn überhaupt noch möglich ist.Wenn ja und es würde vor dem 01.08 klappen wäre es super.Weil ich ab 01.08 in die lehre ausserhalb von LEJ gehe.Wenn es am 04.08 sein sollte könnte ich nur versuche von oben runter zu kommen.

It is very difficult to say something about eating near airport There is a cheap supermarket (Billa) directly opposite the airport in the Europort building (Courtyard by Mariott hotel building). Near the terminal south, there is Sestka shopping centre with the basic fast food restaurant and one of the restaurant is opposite the main airport (older) terminal in the Rodop building (behind Europort) too...

Also von den 3 Terminen gefällt mir der 11.8. am besten, weil ich dann vom 14.-24.8. Ulaub auf Mallorca mache.

P.S. War im April schonmal in Prag.

Wenn RWY 24 benutzt wird, gibt es bis zum frühen Nachmittag einen guten Spot bei CSA Cargo. Jedenfalls waren dort einige Erdhügel direkt neben dem Zaun aufgeschüttet, wo man locker fast das ganze Gelände einsehen konnte. Nur leider war das Wetter damals nicht so prickelnd.
